Deep Sea Duo

I tried incorporating a lot of round shaped in the shark character in order to make him look more naive, kind and trustworthy. Like he wouldn't hurt a fly. Or his tiny hermit crab companion.
I chose the color pink for the companion's body to offer some contrast to the otherwise big amount of orange, purple and blue in the shark. But I still made sure to draw a subtle parallels between the two characters through the pink tongue on the shark and circular and organic shapes.
